I just love this hotel, staff, rooms and location. They truly treat you like family. I appreciate Jahfrica who worked at the front desk during most of my lastest stay February 11-14, 2024. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, she went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and to make sure that I was well taken care of. In addition, during my stay I also had great customer service from Rachel, Ingrid and Tim, the General Manager. In addition, my room was very clean, a great size and the bed was so comfortable... The free hot breakfast was delicious and had a great variety for all. I would 100% recommend this hotel and I plan on staying there the next time I travel.

This was okay and was thankful it wasn’t the first Hampton Inn we went to! The hotel itself was clean and nice looking! Our room looked great! Clean and comfy! Until you got in bed. Mattress needs to be replaced and sheets are hot and scratchy. I agree with other reviewers about the air freshener smell in the room. It must be in the AC units because you can randomly smell it. The unit itself was leaking onto the carpet when we woke the next morning. Breakfast was one of the worst we’ve been to on this trip. Regular hotel breakfast items but it looked a lot worse than most others. Probably will find a different place to stay when in town again. It wouldn’t take much to get these things addressed though.

My father recently passed away after suffering cardiac arrest at this hotel and passed at the hospital. He had stayed there often for business and always raved about it. We were notified about the incident by Ashley the GM. She could not have been any more compassionate, supportive, kind, and generous to our family. When we met with her to pick up my father’s vehicle, she was even sweeter in person and exemplified what the “hospitality” industry is about. I myself have been traveling for my job for 25 plus years and have never met anyone as kind and generous as her. Having Ashley in this role tells me that everything my dad had said about the cleanliness, friendliness, and comfort at the Hampton in Tallahassee was 1000% on point. Thank you for everything Ashley. Great hotel, clean and comfortable. Front desk personnel friendly and recognized me as a Hilton Diamond member. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Upon checking in Sunday night I realized I had accidentally locked my keys and phone in the car. While I was checking in, I explained to the agent at the front desk that I had just accidentally locked my car with my keys and phone inside. Jamal was more than accommodating in assisting me with finding a locksmith company that would be able to unlock my car. After assisting me with the car situation and checking me in he gave me complimentary waters and cookies while I waited for the locksmith to arrive even though it’s usually only reserved for Hilton members. For future reference, he explained to me that this is one of the many perks of being a Hilton member and gave me a pamphlet to sign up to become a Hilton member for free. The awesome breakfast the next morning, the 24/7 hot coffee and Jamal’s hospitality would make me recommend this location to anyone else.
